Homepage > Scholarship program for students of the AGH Doctoral School
Established by the Faculty Council of Civil Engineering and Resource Management at the Stanisław Staszic Academy of Mining and Metallurgy in Krakow on July 7, 2016, the Prof. Jan Pawiński Scholarship is intended for outstanding PhD students of this university. It not only serves as a recognition of individual scientific and organizational achievements of Doctoral School students, but also provides financial support aimed at motivating further scientific and professional development.

The assistance obtained through it is meant to contribute to the development of the scholarship recipients’ passions and talents, as well as to increase their opportunities for practical application of knowledge.

This initiative, initiated by Dr. Eng. Krzysztof Pawiński, annually awards prizes during the ceremonial session of the AGH Senate during the Barbórka celebrations, presenting them with symbolic statuettes depicting miniatures of an inkwell and a peacock feather.

Since 2021, as part of the scholarship program for PhD students of the Doctoral School, the Chairman of the University Council’s Scholarship – Dr. Eng. Krzysztof Pawiński – has been awarded.
