The intention of my Partners and myself was to create opportunities for the educational development of our Employees’ children and to ensure that the Foundation focuses on second-cycle studies. The Bologna system, which has been in place at universities for some time, creates the possibility of dividing university education into two stages. By combining the possibilities of first-cycle studies in the country and second-cycle studies abroad, we create something unique – a circle of acquaintances that encompasses these two cultural areas. Studying is not just about acquiring knowledge. It is also a network of acquaintances, friendships, and relationships that last a lifetime. And I know what I am talking about because I was a beneficiary of a scholarship program that allowed me to study abroad many years ago.
